The Golfers Inn

I found this place, purely out of necessity and luck. I had passed by many times before having lived in the area once, but haven’t noticed it since it was renovated. I was more than happily surprised for a budget hotel, this place was a bargain. The lobby (on a dreary, snowy night) was clean and smelled pleasant. More like in incense than some of the other things people are suggesting. I’m smell-sensitive, Trust me this place smelled nice. I was greeted with a smile and a helpful night manager. My room was fresh and clean and felt updated and comfortable. No trace of bugs, stale cigarette odor or anything else people are complaining about. I’m an avid traveler, and travel often to this area for work. This place was a bargain for $80/night. I moved to a Day’s Inn ($118/night) in Plymouth meeting for a few days, and it’s funny: THIS PLACE Has the same furniture, lighting, and other accoutrements has the more expensive Days Inn has. (while there is no free breakfast here, at Golfers) – the accommodations were just as nice. I came back to spend the last two nights of my trip here, and my second room was just as pleasant as the first. Here’s the thing: lots of people will complain about a 2-star budget Hotel Because they’re expecting a 5-star hotel experience. Some people just suck.Wanna feel a shoddy hotel experience? Try staying at the Day’s Inn In Springfield. It’s more expensive than Golfer’s Inn - and by far a bad choice in lodging. Give Golfer’s a try. For clean and comfortable lodging at a budget price, you can’t beat this. I’ll certainly be back next time I’m in town.

Owners did a good job with renovations ... Totally different than the summit inn .. hard to believe it's the same building .. paid 120.00 the first time I stayed .. came back week later and the price went up and I paid 200 bucks. Worth 120. But not 200.. I like the guy at the front desk. He's Kool.

Great Stay at The Golfers Inn! I had a wonderful experience staying at The Golfers Inn. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and provided a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with any requests. The room was well-maintained, and the amenities, including free Wi-Fi and parking, were convenient. The location was also great, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant place to stay!

Went to The Golfers Inn, not because I was playing golf at the attached golf course, but because I was attending a wedding at a nearby venue in the evening, and I didn't want to drive home (100 miles} after a Saturday night reception. The location was convenient for my wife and me. The lobby and the room were clean, neat, and nicely decorated. The room had a small refrigerator and a small safe. The toilet didn't flush very well. We reported that to the manager when we checked out. There's an attached free parking lot. This motel is wheelchair accessible.

The hotel is very close to the Norristown High Speed Line, great for attending events in the city without needing to navigate the traffic. The rooms are well appointed with new fixtures. The bed was great. The fridge was cold, the shower was hot. The AC unit worked great.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Facility is clean and very comfortable. Large rooms with all we needed - coffee machine, comfortable beds and pretty view to the golf players. Close to train to Philadelphia, shopping plaza very close to get all we needed during our stay. Parking around hotel - always available, free and close to the room. Hotel definitely worth to be recommended!!!

Most importantly - the place is well-operated and I had a good experience as a guest. The unique theming/decor and lack of their own website had me a little hesitant , so I'm pleased to report it's both a legitimate and enthusiastic operation! Would stay again. My one criticism is the quality of the renovation. Everything is safe, clean, and functional, but the details are like those of a quick-flipped house. Owners, if you did the work yourself, just go back for touch-ups when you've got time and money saved up. If you paid someone else for the work, I sincerely hope you have a well-written contract or it's still in progress. It's disrespectful to you and to their trade if they proudly presented it as a finished product. I won't give any spoilers, noticing the odd bits and details was actually kind of fun! But if you guys want help going over the place with a red pen to hold your contractor(s) accountable, let me know :)
